About the Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY 

Must be a previous recipient of a Salem Foundation William and Terri Frohnmayer Scholarship.

Must be attending an accredited college or university.

Must meet all selection criteria.

SELECTION

The criteria for selection will be:

  1. Active participation on the college golf team.
  2. Intention and qualification to remain on the golf team for the next school year.
  3. Satisfactory academic progress.
  4. Adherence to a drug-free lifestyle.

Financial need will be taken into consideration but is not a requirement to receive the award.

Relatives of the Scholarship Review Committee are not eligible to receive the scholarship.

AMOUNT AND PURPOSE

Determination of the number and amount of scholarship awards is at the discretion of the Scholarship Review Committee.  Scholarship awards are at least $1,000.00.

Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, living expenses, and education-related travel expenses, to the extent that these expenses are reasonable, and will be paid directly to the college or university.
